Greg Seat, Principal Broker and Owner of Cumberland Land Company, was first licensed as an Affiliate Broker in 1982 and served as the Co-Branch Manager for the Strout Realty office in Sharon, Tennessee. Greg has brokered and/or owned land in this state since that time.
Greg grew up hunting and fishing in Middle Tennessee. As a teenager he hunted quail, rabbits, and doves in Wilson and Maury Counties and rabbits and squirrels in Cheatham and Dickson Counties. Greg was introduced to hunting quail by his legendary quail hunting uncle, Jack Robertson, who had pursued quail all over Wilson County. He fished from the time he was a small kid in the creeks, rivers, and lakes in Middle Tennessee. This is when he first started fly fishing. During college he continued to hunt rabbits and started hunting ducks and deer in the bottoms of the Obion and Mississippi Rivers and primarily hunted rabbits in Giles County.
Today, Greg continues to hunt a variety of local game including deer, turkeys, doves, ducks, and sometimes quail. He continues to flyfish for smallmouth and largemouth bass, trout, and panfish and has made several trips to the Smokies to fish for trout as well as rivers in several eastern as well as western states. Greg took a decent mule deer on an unguided solo hunt in the northwest corner of Montana. On a trip to New Zealand he took the nice Red Stag pictured along with a decent Fallow Deer.
All this is say that not only is Greg a qualified land specialist but he is also a lifelong avid outdoorsman and can relate to the buyers and sellers of rural properties. He has probably spent more days afield either working or pursing sporting activities than is reasonable to most people. Contact Greg at 615-397-1638.
